# Claire Huang > SDE @ Annapurna Labs Location: United States, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/clairehuang Hi! I'm Claire, and I love solving all of my life problems with machine learning. Jokes aside, I enjoy the process of building, breaking, and rebuilding things - and sometimes, they happen to solve my life problems, too. In high school, a friend and I fine-tuned a GPT-2 chatbot on Discord introduction channels to create a character generator for aspiring writers like myself. In college, a friend and I built Tetris on an FPGA controlled by the Donkey Konga Jungle Beat Bongos for the Nintendo GameCube. I'll say that this project tried to solve my life problem of being bad at Tetris. Currently, I'm building an app that will solve my problem of having to scroll all the way down through a pop-up-filled recipe website at the grocery store. I've also been involved in numerous artificial intelligence ethics efforts at UCLA. During my time as an ACM AI Workshops officer, I helped introduce the discussion of current ethics issues within our weekly workshops. Additionally, for my classes in Digital Humanities, I conducted multiple interviews with artists who promote on social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pixiv, Twitter) to understand how the rise of art generation models is impacting their livelihood. Given that several of my projects have involved the handling of conversations on Discord, this topic is particularly important to me, and I hope I can continue to incorporate my learnings in any project I create. Designed a mathematical method for corner detection.
