# Cody Eilar > Engineer etc. Location: Oakland, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/codyeilar I'm a software engineer with over 10 years of experience writing code in a handful of languages across multiple domains. I don't turn water into wine, but coffee into code. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ Stealth Jan 2024 – Present | San Jose, California, United States Crafting Go-powered magic at a stealth startup, I engineer and wrangle Kubernetes clusters so our customers’ AI workloads run smoother than a fresh-pulled espresso. From building operators and deploying with CI/CD to keeping clusters happy (thanks, Prometheus and Grafana!), I’m all about reliability, scalability, and a sprinkle of fun in every deployment. ### ICB4 Software Engineer @ Broadcom Jan 2024 – Jan 2025 | Palo Alto, California, United States ### Senior Software Engineer @ VMware Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 | Palo Alto, California, United States cert-manager, CI/CD, Kubernetes operators and more! ### Technical Advisor @ TARTLE Jan 2019 – Jan 2023 | Santa Fe, New Mexico Area - Decentralized currency - Cryptography - Authentication and Authorization ### Senior Software Engineer @ Rally Health Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | San Francisco Bay Area Developed Scala backend to unite multiple applications into a single URL for consistency. ### Senior Computer Scientist @ Sandia National Laboratories Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 Modernization of treaty verification applications ### CTO/Co-Founder @ Lens Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | Albuquerque, NM I develop secure, decentralized web technology that puts individuals first. I believe that the ethics of the internet start with developers. It's time we start building tools that empower individuals and not rob them of their data-dignity. ### Computer Scientist @ Sandia National Laboratories Jan 2014 – Jan 2018 | Albuquerque, New Mexico Area Real-Time Geolocation, Algorithm Optimization and Modernization, Cloud Architecture, Distributed Processing Orchestration, GPU Acceleration and Scalable Application Development. Languages: C++, Python, GoLang and Javascript ### Real Time Software Engineer @ Boeing Jan 2012 – Jan 2014 C++ developer for real time control systems and object tracking algorithms on for AFRL telescopes on Haleakala, Maui, HI. My work in this area included algorithms for tracking satellites and stars for real time analysis, software for real time control loops, operator GUIs in QT, C++ interfaces to cameras and hardware, and also maintained and deployed software via RPMs on RedHat Linux. ### Real Time Software Engineer @ Boeing Jan 2010 – Jan 2012 Designed firmware for high speed video processing applications. My responsibilities in this area included low-level interfaces written in VHDL to hardware such as cameras, memory, and network interfaces. I implemented several parts of our tracking algorithm in VHDL that included background subtraction, centroid calculations, and bad pixel removal. Additionally, I wrote simulation software in MATLAB to stress test and validate tracking algorithms within our FPGA circuits. ## Education ### Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering The University of New Mexico ### Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering The University of New Mexico ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/cody-eilar --- Source: https://flows.cv/codyeilar JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/codyeilar/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-31
