As a Senior SDET at BeyondTrust, I primarily support identity threat and detection software, specifically in the realm of authentication and authorization. However, my team has wide-ranging responsibilities and contributes to many different projects, including micro-frontends, SSO integration, and our overall product ecosystem.

Day-to-day, I create and iterate on frameworks for end-to-end, API, unit, and integration tests, as well as contributing to the development and reliability of my team's core software, using tech such as .NET, OpenId Connect, Playwright, Reqnroll, AWS Lambda, and Kubernetes.

After previously working here from 2019-2021, I was the senior member of a fast-paced Agile engineering team that was driving the effort to build a custom test automation pipeline from the ground up — while also creating frameworks and suites that implemented end-to-end, integration, and performance testing of Istation's award-winning educational gaming software on multiple different platforms.

My main responsibilities included using Cypress (TypeScript), Selenium (Java 11+), Python, and shell scripting to accomplish a variety of tasks, including building end-to-end tests from scratch in a greenfield project, creating and maintaining test pipelines (using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and GitHub Actions), and performing R&D to run legacy automation tests against a WebAssembly (WASM) application.

I expanded and improved the existing test automation codebase of a widely-used global sports communication and management platform, using Cypress and Detox – both of which are built on the Mocha framework and Chai assertion library. All tests were written in JavaScript.
