Utilized C++ to create FAA certifiable software using SPI transfers for IMUs and magnetometers for an eVTOL navigation computer. Implemented parallel sensor sampling automation drivers through an FPGA, reducing total processing time by 83% and CPU load by 31%. Enhanced sensor reliability by developing and executing signal timing and correlation test scripts in Python. Built drivers for a two axis gimbal and utilized Allan variance analysis to calibrate and test for IMU drift.
