Singlehandedly architected a scalable system to verifiably delete and recover indexed search data on Google Cloud. This feature is currently being rolled out as an alpha. 

Along the way, I authored a 10+ page design document that explained architectural decisions and built a system to verify deletion progress to satisfy Google Cloud SLA requirements. I also orchestrated data removal across multiple zones, replicas and database systems with different consistency guarantees. To expose this feature to customers, I extended the Python and Java App Engine APIs and development environments to support index deletion and recovery.
