# Corben Morrison > Full-Stack Software Engineer Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/corben As a software engineer I have a strong background in domain driven design and fullstack applications. One of the things I enjoy most when developing a program is finding different approaches to a problem that I might've seen before. Recently, I graduated from Hack Reactor's intensive coding bootcamp, an experience that not only sharpened and focused my skills as a software developer but also instilled in me the confidence needed to thrive in the software engineering workforce. I am excited to contribute my knowledge, dedication, and enthusiasm to innovative projects and teams that push the boundaries of technology. Feel free to reach out for code-alongs, projects, or anything interesting. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Personal Software Engineering Projects Jan 2023 – Present "The Bench" is a feature-rich mobile application designed to simplify the process of finding gym buddies. This innovative app offers users the ability to create and edit custom profiles, connect with other fitness enthusiasts, and engage in fitness events seamlessly. After creating a profile that suits you, you are offered more functionality such as bookmarking other users that catch your eye, attending events made by other users, creating your own if there isn't anything nearby or interesting. What I did: Dockerized a FastAPI backend in conjunction with a postgresSQL database, a containerization approach to our project enhanced our application’s scalability Utilized gitlab CI/CD pipelines with unit tests and the Flake8 library to ensure clean code with results consistent across all four teammates. Implemented a robust JWTdown system which was a consistent system to identify and secure the privacy of users. ### Software Engineer @ Personal Software Engineering Projects Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 My portfolio website gives a unique user experience by using 3D modeling and animations to navigate the ordinary fields you normally find on a software engineer's portfolio. It achieves a unique feel by overlapping HTML/CSS over a 3D environment that reacts to users interacting with HTML. Please feel free to check it out and message me with any feedback you might have, I would love to hear your thoughts. ### Software Engineer @ Personal Software Engineering Projects Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 Project Mechanics-Go was made to mimic what a mechanic might use to run their shop. It offers a multitude of utilities, such as is easy to save customers and what their vehicle is as well as give a customer VIP status if they have bought from you before. It can also be used to book appointments, store them and give them a status of "pending", "completed", or "cancelled". It also gives the ability to search through all the appointments, pending or not. What I did: Crafted project scaffolding with a foundation in domain-driven design, resulting in an elegant and easily understandable end product. Employed microservices to seamlessly interconnect a modular backend that is intuitive to comprehend and adapt. Seamlessly integrated the Bootstrap library into a React single-page application, enhancing the user experience significantly. ### Delivery Driver @ Amazon Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 What I did: I organized around 200-300 packages a day based off locale to make navigation more time efficient. I assessed the provided delivery routes and improvised alternative routes in order to optimize efficiency and prevent any potential delays in the delivery. I also monitored vans condition daily to ensure all other drivers safety on the road. ## Education ### Computer Science Stanislaus State Continuing and Professional Education ### Software Engineering Immersive in Computer Software Engineering Hack Reactor ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/corben-morrison - Portfolio: https://comorrison.com --- Source: https://flows.cv/corben JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/corben/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-10
