Led design reviews and design sprints across design disciplines (i.e., Product Design, Content, Sound, Game, and Art) to ensure high craft and product alignment across VR experiences. Played a critical role in setting goals and direction for product teams; influential in strengthening culture & identifying areas for development within a team. Supported product and design teams to be more productive by actively contributing to mentorship, teaching, on-boarding, and creating design standards. Defined product direction, strategy, and opportunities for Horizon’s World Hop Mini-games, Personal Space, and Variable Groups. ### Product Designer — Marketplace @ Meta Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | Menlo Park, California Enabled small businesses to self-designate as Diverse-Owned to help promote Black-Owned Businesses across Facebook app. Designed a framework to support all diverse business types: Women-Owned, LBGTQ-Owned, Black-Owned, Hispanic-Owned, Asian and Pacific Islander-Owned, and Veteran-Owned. Enabled people to shop and discover brands from content across the FB app. Explored and designed new product verticals on Marketplace. Led design efforts to stop Thailand Page Sellers from abusing Facebook’s payment systems and supporting person to merchant use cases in Messenger. Efforts helped Marketplace achieve strategic goals in preventing bad actors from abusing payment tools and making payments a first-class citizen in Messenger. ### Product Designer - Ads Solutions @ Meta Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Menlo Park, California Led design efforts to unlock an $8 billion opportunity and increase film ad spend on Facebook; designed three new ad solutions for movie studio advertisers: Interested and Showtime Ad Units and Movie Page Selector during ad creation. Kickstarted company-wide effort to enable AR Ads for brand advertisers and created initial concepts. Initial designs were featured in Mobile Market Awards 2018 Campaign of the Year, highlighting Michael Kors' AR Ad campaign on Facebook.
