· Designed and built a system to easily create demonstration environments for customer calls and internal testing using Golang and a React admin interface with easy one-click setup for efficient testing with optional full customization.

· Implemented customer transactional and reminder emails using SendGrid. Built with on event-based architecture to determine customer status and which emails to send after specific events are fired throughout the customer lifecycle.

· Built out features for a Web3 store platform that hosted and sold NFT drops for professional sports players. Worked with Blockchain engineers to ensure full wallet access and transferability on the Ethereum Blockchain.

· Created a Web3 live stream video platform using Amazon IVS and Vue for sport professionals to stream to their fans. Fans needed to connect their Crypto Wallet and own the player’s NFT as a key to get access to their live streams.

· Lead contractor team to design the next generation of headless commerce platform to manage hundreds of unique stores and internal user access management. Performed vendor research and analysis to decide to buy vs. build the platform.

· Built Python data pipelines from a handful of vendors to Snowflake data lake and then exported to a Customer Data Platform for marketing research and customer analysis to enable a wholistic view of customer data for all Thrasio brands.

· Built Pricing Engine to consume data science models, designed and built admin user tools in React to create custom rules to set optimal prices for all Thrasio’s tens of thousands of product listings across all marketing channels to maximize profit.

· Lead a small team of engineers in scrum rituals, roadmap planning and technical planning for integrating service with client teams. Served as the technical point of contact and outward communication for the List Platform.

· Gathered requirements and designed scalable REST API, MSSQL database, and Aerospike caching structure for the service.

· Productionized Java Spring Boot app for fetching product reviews on-site, serving over 6k requests per second at peak.

· Managed Kubernetes config for deployments within the Wayfair ecosystem for Java services in Docker containers.

· Created and maintained thorough monitoring, metrics, logging, and documentation using Grafana, Datadog, and Kibana.

· Oversaw application health and observability as the pod Stability Captain. Influenced stability roadmaps within the org.

· Provided critical support to previous team on time sensitive customer issues as the domain expert.

· Pioneered one of the first Java Spring Boot REST Microservices at Wayfair in collaboration with another engineer. This service is the data store for the Favorites and Registry features, enabling over sixty-five million customers to save the products they love.

· Coordinated technical initiatives and feature work with cross-functional partners and served as the primary point of contact for the Registry team as its Technical Lead. Lead scrum rituals and ticket planning for the entire team.

· Spearheaded a half year long project with 9 engineers that overhauled the order process for Registry gifts. Coordinated changes with 10 different teams on web and native app platforms.

· Implemented high risk PHP changes affecting Cart, Checkout and Order Processing, working closely with those teams to ensure stability and confidence in new changes before releasing them.

· Certified JS, PHP and Java code reviewer. Served as the team’s primary source of code reviews.
