Sketched, designed, and prototyped a new homepage to better inform users about Perch Houses' unique offerings; the redesign built trust and integrated clear, non-intrusive action items, improving user readiness to proceed.

Continuously refined designs based on stakeholder feedback until final approval was obtained on over 30 Atomic components that increased design flexibility and consistency while reducing development time.

Ran usability testing with 4 users to evaluate the effectiveness of new designs in optimizing conversion rates, the tests identified remaining pain points and resulted in user flow iterations and additional clarifying microcopy.

Conducted comprehensive competitor analysis and designed a guided onboarding process. Testing revealed that the feature caused confusion and did not improve conversions, leading to its strategic removal. This decision increased clarity and streamlined the user experience by eliminating unnecessary friction.

Contributed to the creation of the Femmecubator design system. Responsibilities included designing and documenting accessible form components in Figma.

Led a new brand theme using modes, global, semantic, and component tokens, increasing product marketability.

Initiated the implementation of brand partner carousels featuring 3 forms of social proof to cultivate user trust, strategically positioned in high-traffic areas to maximize brand partnership monetization.

Set up opened and closed card sorts on Optimal Workshop to inform the restructuring of the taxonomy, 2 main categories were added, allowing the reduction of the largest subcategory from 13 to 7, making content discovery more intuitive and efficient.

Restructured and updated button copy in global navigation to add clarity, reduced the button count from 8 to 7, and simplified button styles from 2 to 1, making the brand partner directory more discoverable and amplifying traffic to brand detail pages to support monetization efforts.

Deliverables: Full Research Report, 3 Rounds of User Testing, Sketches, Wireframes, and a High Fidelity Prototype.

Managed six employees, attended several daily scrums, facilitated weekly 1:1s to ensure career satisfaction, and administered yearly reviews, achieving 100% employee retention and saving onboarding expenses.

Assisted in maintaining and documenting Casebook’s Design System, a React component library based on Material UI documented with Storybook. This work ensured design consistency, accessibility, and improved product quality.

Partnered with the senior leadership team as a member of the Leadership Council, to increase transparency and communication throughout the organization.

Led monthly front-end department meetings with around 10 employees, and encouraged team members to share their knowledge, which generated more communication, increased job satisfaction and code quality, and bolstered the team rapport.
