- Worked on a team to redesign the translation data pipeline, and integrate a variety of Etsy services with a third party translation platform.
Implemented KafkaStreams real-time user metrics monitoring service, to track page load performance across browsers and CDNs. 
- Collaborated on a “Trending Searches” feature for the main user search bar on Etsy. Coded the UI to display the feature in the zero pane, and added blocklist functionality to the API endpoint that served the data. Brainstormed potential data models for experimentation, based on loosely defined product request.
- Implemented search functionality in a translation tool. Built ETL pipeline to transfer data from MySQL to Solr, and created an API to map the existing UI (~20 data fields) to query the new search engine.
