Our mission at Acorns is to look after the financial best interests of the up-and-coming, beginning with the empowering step of micro-investing.

I am the backend technical lead for the Advisory team on Investment Products at Acorns. As technical lead, I led the planning and development of projects concerning our Early (UGMA/UTMA) and Later (Individual Retirement) accounts for a team of three engineers. This past year, I led the development of a major re-design of our IRA transaction syncing process, in order to make a more cost-effective and fault tolerant system for our customers.

I have the privilege of working with some incredible engineers. They have pushed me to become a better engineer myself, and I'm looking forward to all of the awesome things we will build together at Acorns!

Zayo is the industry leading fiber optics solution - we provide the critical bandwidth for the world's top companies.

While at Zayo, I architected and shipped a machine-learning application to classify emails and pay invoices, saving the company an average of $2000 per week.

I worked extensively with Javascript(Node.js + React), Python, and Apex at Zayo. I really appreciated working with team members that were sharp, enthusiastic, and always willing to learn with me.

At CU Boulder, I was a course assistant for CSCI 3202. I taught students about search algorithms, search heuristics, game trees, Bayes nets, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning.

I also assisted the instructor by planning course materials, activities, and other projects for students in this class.
