There was an opportunity to build a platform, which did not exist, for groups to host virtual bike events. I designed and built OmegaTrackr.com, from the SQLite database to the web interface and all the underlying processes to support it. I built an Ubuntu virtual machine on Digital Ocean as its host. The web application allows teams, clubs and bike events to have personalized pages to host timed segment competitions along a course using Strava data. The rankings are updated real time as riders upload their recorded files to Strava. The administrative features allow organizers to set routes, pick segments, set event dates, create categories and setup automatic digital waivers for registered riders. In August 2022, Breck Epic, a six day mountain bike stage race in Breckenridge, CO used my platform to host their Enduro and Vertical Challenges within their main race. It was open to a small group as a beta test. For 2023, they will use OmegaTrackr.com to host the same sub events and open it to all 500 of their racers with Yeti Cycles as the title sponsor offering prizes to the top finishers.

* Was proactive in designing and implementing Firebird database schema and user interface scripts to replace order processing in Excel. I built this on my own time to prove the automation was possible. This innovative system significantly streamlined their order processing while reducing manual input errors.

* Redesigned Python process to automatically configure hardware and reduce manual processing of hundreds of sensors per order.

* Streamlined Zabbix system monitoring software installation.

* Created a Node­-RED prototype to leverage and evaluate information from the main control system.

* Designed and built a SNMP Trap monitoring system to send out alarms to servers when datacenter

temperatures and control systems are beyond threshold.

* Collaborated with the US Quantitative Research group to design and implement a research data warehouse for Standard and Poor’s Compustat database.

* Utilized SAS and shell scripting in Unix to create a new data warehouse and ongoing processes to update the database.

* Redesigned existing daily update logic using hash to reduced processing time by at least 60%.

* Database covered quarterly and annual financial information for over 10,000 companies back 30 years.

* Created exceptions reporting processes to automatically notify the research team of any potential issues.

* Collaborated with quantitative researchers to design and build the infrastructure for motion picture data utilized in their multifactor investment models.

* Collaborated on and implemented Oracle database architecture.

* Developed and maintained tools to support a motion picture database which included over 5,000 movies and 20,000 movie credits.

* Created Web-based Intranet utilities using PHP to display aggregated motion picture data, to track performance and to create dynamic reports.
