I worked on another contract project to improve the signup page and redesign the Student Portal’s essay editing tool. The project involved working with stakeholders across Empowerly to conduct need-finding, user pain points, heuristic review, and designing sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups. I successfully redesign and completed the handoff of the Student Essay Tool within 2 sprints.
August 2019 - January 2020
As a contract Product Designer, I worked on the student portal. My focus is on redesigning the time planner feature. I was responsible for user research, interaction and visual design, prototyping, and user testing.
FirstPerson (UX/UI)
Led the visual and interaction design for the client’s user journey for a pharmaceutical company.
Created the user journey for a touch screen interactive display.
Lyft (Presentation Designer)
Spearheaded the redesign effort of the Drivers Hub Project by creating a compelling visual and digestible presentation for the Executive Team.
Designed and completed all visual components for the Exec meeting in 1 workday.
Studied Lyft brand guidelines and style guide to create a presentation deck that was consistent with Lyft’s brand identity.
DearBrightly (UX/UI)
Assessed DearBrightly’s skincare product discovery platform, how it works page and performed an analysis of their competitors to deliver and create a more streamlined flow to increase user engagement and significantly decrease support requests.
Created storyboards, user flows, and site maps to articulate screen flows effectively.
Produced wireframes, interactive prototypes, and hi-fidelity visual designs.
APRL (UX/UI)
Discovered the user pain points and unmet needs by conducting guerilla user interviews and usability testings.
Successfully communicated designs ideas to stakeholders and leaders by completing a competitive analysis and heuristic evaluations, creating storyboards, sketches, lo-fi to hi-fi wireframes, and an interactive prototype.
