I currently work as a Gameplay Engineer at 1047 Games. ## Work Experience ### Gameplay Engineer @ 1047 Games Jan 2023 – Present ### Software Engineer Intern @ Google Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 | Sunnyvale, California, United States ● Experimented with open-source firmware update solutions written in C to conduct firmware updates in google datacenters. ● Augmented an open-source tool to support our target device that can read and write arbitrary firmware blobs to memory. ● Documented process in markdown and created a setup guide for future engineers to extend the project to more devices in the future. ### Software Engineering Intern (STEP) @ Google Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 ● Revamped several debug web pages with HTML formatting and added new data displays regarding resource utilization for Borgmaster, Google’s job scheduling system. ● Created a tool in C++ that reads through Borgmaster logs and replays RPCs to other internal services for analysis. ● Reviewed changes from other googlers to ensure correct and well-written code. ### Research Assistant @ Carnegie Mellon University Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 I worked on gameplay programming for Bloomwood Stories: Block Party, mostly focusing on implementing the visual novel aspects of our gameplay. Using Unity, I integrated the Ink visual novel scripting language with the Fungus visual novel tools to speed up the implementation of the narrative team's story. Bloomwood Stories: Block Party is a transformational game focusing on health literacy and equity.
