• Built a robust developer tool in SolidJS that provides in depth and interactive visualization of server side queries using recursive component rendering, allowing developers to explore nested JSON data and troubleshoot/optimize user state when working with TanStack Solid Query. The tool received over 1,000 downloads on npm in its first week following launch.

• Developed functional reactive components and utilized Tailwind CSS to build a consistent and responsive user interface, allowing developers to seamlessly integrate Solid Query Devkit into their applications development environment.

• Led the conversion of codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript shortly after product launch to ensure code maintainability and reduce potential type errors for future developers working on the product.

• Utilized Node/Express to build a server following the MVC design pattern, leveraging middleware functions to enable seamless communication with a MongoDB database to handle user authentication/authorization and allow for easy ticket submission.

• Implemented GitHub OAuth, enhancing the security of the application by minimizing the amount of sensitive user data stored directly in the database and ensuring reliability/scalability of the user authentication/authorization process.

• Containerized application using Docker and deployed on AWS through Elastic Beanstalk, ensuring the applications security and scalability through the use of automated load balancing, monitoring, and integration with additional AWS services (S3, Route 53).

• Modernized legacy codebase by converting class based React components into functional components, utilizing React Hooks and Context API to handle state management and lifecycle methods, enhancing code maintainability and reducing technical debt.

• Created an Express middleware algorithm that synthesized user input data with existing database records, minimizing additional database queries and resulting in significant improvements in application performance (30% less load time) and user experience.
