Our goal is to drive the strategy and design of the support transformation by integrating with product and process teams within the org. My role as a design strategist is to approach problems from a technical perspective, taking into account feasibility and possibility. When we are in phases that are heavy on business process or non-technical, I’ve taken on project management responsibilities. Technical Content Redesign We worked with the technical content team to redesign their learning site for Content writers and strategists. I came into the project late, but was brought in to finish up a base react site with the Carbon Design System as a jump start for the team to be on a simple modern framework. This allowed the team to ramp up quickly, have a technical stack that has longevity, can scale, and many developers have the skills to build on. They were able to take that work, connect it to their backend, to fully modernize their content site. Desktop App Development I developed an experimental prototype to test the capabilities of Electron, a framework for developing Mac desktop apps. In a couple weeks a developed an application to highlight task bar timer updates, tracking of activity to http protocol functions, and desktop app notifications. Quake - Quality at IBM Our task was to do some research into quality at IBM. My main role was a project manager/orchestrator to organize the teams, facilitate workshops, and assist in design research. I focused on archival research, assisted with interviews with stakeholders as well as clients. I also aided in synthesizing information in an easy to understand format to playback to stakeholders. ### Front End Developer and Designer - Digital Technical Engagement @ IBM Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Austin, Texas Area Digital Technical Engagement (DTE) is an initiative to provide high quality technical assets for potential clients to learn and try IBM products before buying them. As a development team, we established a platform for our content contributors to submit different types of assets as well as a site (www.ibm.biz/dte-live) to highlight these assets. We continue to strive to improve the contributor experience and integrate these assets into our digital buyer journey. I work in multiple areas of the small business. I help manage her social media by creating email blasts through MailChimp and creating and posting content on Facebook and Instagram. I also handle entering and managing products using an inventory management software called Benchworks to improve production. I worked in ActionScript learning new frameworks Starling and Feathers. I implemented many new UI screens and programmed their functionality. I worked on screens such as profile/avatar management, financial transactions and management, filtering and sorting, leaderboards, and more. I also learned how to work under tight deadlines and finish a project in a short time frame. ### Programmer @ Portalarium Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 Client side programmer working in ActionScript 3.0 and Adobe Flex for social game Ultimate Collector Garage Sale. I worked with designers and artists to implement new features and UI for the game.
