Rev offers the world's best transcription platform powered by automatic speech recognition and human freelancers. I worked on the Marketplace team which managed a two-sided marketplace to empower freelancers to deliver high quality accurate transcripts back to customers at quick speeds.

• Tech lead & design lead for building document editor functionalities used by freelance transcribers to transcribe legal depositions.

• Scaled the editor’s ability for freelancers to add legal markup to ASR first drafts of transcripts.

• Led the creation of marketplace tools that matched freelancers to transcription jobs through historic job performance, audio previewing, and customer priority.

• Collaborated with tech lead in the development of a new product line, Legal Transcription, which supported transcriptions of depositions for court reporting agencies and expanded the company’s service offerings.

• Developed a new, efficient filtering UX for the jobs in Rev’s marketplace which sped up freelancer’s job finding process.

• Designed & developed a job pricing tool that enabled operations to fully customize how jobs are initially priced and further escalated over time.

BookBub is a book discovery platform that helps readers find new books and authors. I worked on the Advertisement team which operated on the author side of the marketplace -- assisting them get their work discovered.

• Developed and scaled self-serving advertising tools that empowered partners to direct ads towards their intended audiences within BookBub’s platform — enabling partners to sell 15% more books per week.

• Improved ad audience targeting parameters which added over 3 million impressions per week into our ads marketplace — increasing click-through & conversion rates by 5% and lifted total ads revenue by 5%.
