• Joined as first front-end engineer (employee #4) on the AngularJS code-base.
• Collaborated with our designer to implement features in a “pixel perfect” manner while balancing technical constraints.
• Improved in-house WYSIWYG HTML rich text editor.
• Set up and maintained JavaScript tooling (Gulp).
• Developed a back-end (Node.js) HTML/CSS sanitization system to safely render emails at scale.
• Implemented early versions of the company website.
• Led solo development of the first version of Front Chat, proving React’s validity for the main product.
• Rewrote the “Inbox” core experience in TypeScript/React/Redux, establishing a new front-end standard.
• Regularly helped and mentored new (and old!) engineers to help them ramp-up on the new code-base.

• Maintained front-end tooling and dependencies of the by monitoring the landscape for updates and new techniques.
