I am a technical project lead engineer who excels at leading teams through the software development lifecycle.  I have a unique skillset by not only being able to lead teams/ projects, communicate and present to technical and non-technical audiences, but I can also dive into the technical details in the code and troubleshoot issues as they come.  I think of each project as a new challenge and I love conquering challenges.  

I have focused on all aspects of the software development lifecycle.  I gained technical expertise in API design, SQL and NoSQL databases, and application security. I built complex processes in an Oracle database for a large database migration, and completed many performance tuning efforts and batch processes.  Additionally I led my previous organizations application security posture for 8 years including onboarding onto SAST, DAST, and SCA tools, fixing thousands of vulnerabilities, and presenting vulnerability snapshots to executive leadership.  I have a focus on vulnerability management, remediation, authentication, authorization, and data security.  I strive to incorporate security by design into the SDLC and embrace the left-shift paradigm.

I am able to multitask and work with a very high sense of urgency to prioritize and fix issues as they come.  I am often referred to as a go-to-person and I have been recognized multiple times by leadership for my capabilities.  I enjoy fostering a work environment that everyones opinion matters, and that teamwork and team morale are essential to getting work done.
