- Lead project to achieve total data durability (0 RPO) in the event of sudden data center loss. Brought database fleet from 0% to 100% diversity across 3 on-prem facilities per region, creating the first multi-AZ (availability zone) model at the company. Required software stack improvements and physically trucking thousands of databases hosts between facilities. Planning, approval, and execution completed within 3 months.

- DRI for in-house implementation of DynamoDB on proprietary key-value store.
- Supported all uses of non-persistent storage at company (mainly memcache).
- Lead multi-quarter roadmap planning.
- Lead cross-team and cross-org, multi-quarter designs and implementations.
- Partnered with senior management to bring structure and process back onto team after period of significant attrition, in addition to rebuilding lost customer/user relationships pivotal to team roadmap.
- Invested heavily into team culture, knowledge sharing, and growth of [virtual] collaboration.
- Shepherded entire tech stack around my services as necessary to ensure company success, from top-level user-application support (debugging client team code that used our services) all the way down to hardware capacity forecasting and purchasing.
