I transform comps and wireframes into valid, semantic, standards compliant HTML, CSS and unobtrusive JavaScript. I am a big follower of the web standards movement and so I strive for accessibility and separation of content, markup, presentation and behaviors.
A Ruby on Rails server architecture allows mobile phones running the Lookout software to backup data, scan for viruses and remotely locate and delete all data. The web app uses JavaScript (via jQuery) to enable a variety of features from integration with Google Maps to active polling in order to update the data on the page as soon as the phone/server have any new information.
