 * prepared documentation for various natural disasters – for example, flooding that occurs in the area
 * assisted in the planning and execution of Disaster Preparedness events to increase awareness on how to protect oneself and what equipment must be obtained (flashlights, batteries, first aid kits, etc)
 * canvassed neighborhoods, giving out fliers and discussing with residents how they can protect themselves in the event of a natural disaster.
