Created internal drawings and subassemblies in order to break down complex assemblies for fabrication. • Led the development of a new Class 6 cleanroom and assembly line layout for a multi-ton assembly for the next generation product for one of the top companies in the semiconductor industry. • Designed floor plans and assembly line layouts for complex projects, including a project consisting of over 1000 BoM line items and an assembly line spanning 100,000 square feet. • Implemented automation techniques where applicable, creating multiple scripts in VBA for company Excel workbooks to significantly speed up workflow and minimize mistakes. ### Manufacturing Engineer @ Resonetics Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Davis, CA • Established laser parameters, CNC speeds, and custom machine setups for prototype parts to allow for a quick machine setup and immediate success in laser cutting. Updated machine code for all production parts in order to reduce cycle times, lowering times up to 50% while retaining high quality. • Improved machine code to reduce variability in visual and dimensional quality for high volume, small parts. These improvements reduced waste and became standard for all parts. • Designed steps in standard machine setup to remove error causing variables, including performing preventative maintenance on CNC stages and spindle, offsetting cutting tools, and using dampers to reduce vibrations • Advised design engineers regarding tool paths and design for manufacturability.
