I continue to provide ad-hoc feature design and prototyping. Other recent work | Nov 2024 – Present Through Drive Home, my on-demand design service, I've been supporting workforce wellness teams, recently redesigning MindShare’s toolkit and landing page, and auditing early-stage products. ### Senior Product Designer @ Superformula Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | United States Embedded with MGMRI’s in-resort product team, I redesigned key areas in the company’s mobile app, including its homepage, check-in, and digital key flows, and designed the foundations of its in-house employee tool system, adopted across 16 resorts. I also expanded MGM’s Vega design system and onboarded new designers. Results include: • Reducing lobby-host check-in time by 83% and mobile check-in drop-off by 53%. • Increasing trip add-on revenue by 8% through a redesigned check-in experience. • Facilitating collaboration across product, research, and engineering to ship modular homepage UI. • Enabling cross-functional adoption of internal tool system used across departments. ### UX Designer @ Multiple clients Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | NYC, remote I built an internal low-code landing-page builder that gave Clarify Health’s marketing team full autonomy to launch campaign pages without engineering support. I also designed and implemented commercial websites for local businesses in interior design and hospitality. ### UX Designer @ CipherHealth Jan 2015 – Jan 2020 As the first UX hire at CipherHealth, I led product design across 8 enterprise tools serving care teams, patients, and clinical operations. I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to conduct user research, deliver scalable UI systems, and inform decision-making through data storytelling and insights. I also led design and implementation of the company’s website and broader digital marketing platform. Achievements include: • Redesigning Digital Rounding app, named Best in KLAS three years in a row. • Facilitating cross-team collaboration to design the company’s analytics platform. • Increasing company’s website traffic from <100 to 20,000+ monthly visitors, and improving conversion by 79%. • Delivering an internal CMS component system, which enabled the creation of 300+ landing pages and improved average landing page conversion by 62%. ### UX Designer @ InRhythm Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 As a designer at InRhythm, a Technology Consulting firm, I supported rapid growth initiatives by refining the company's brand identity, expanding its promotional platforms, and enhancing its services for Fortune 500 and startup clients. Contributions included: • Designing and developing the company’s website (attracting an average of 2.5k unique monthly visitors), blog, newsletters, and print collateral (cards, flyers, banners). • Creating UI for client projects using low- and high-fidelity prototypes to bolster consultant engagements. • Producing deliverables for company programs, including charts, presentations, icons, and infographics. ### UX Designer @ Descomplica Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 Diboo, a joint venture between Descomplica & Daniel Azulay Produções, was an online educational platform designed to foster children's creative skills through lessons, games and activities. I was responsible for designing the web-based platform, its brand, logo, and social media presence, and later supporting its growth as the platform expanded. Some notable results included: • 5k+ paying subscribers and 500 daily visitors avg within 8 months of launch. • 30+ activity modules created for the platform. ### Design Intern @ Guggenheim Museum Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 Contributed to a website redesign for the museum’s Interactive Department. My role involved planning and conducting user research, performing usability tests, creating exhibition-related layouts and graphics, and updating front-end code alongside designers and developers. ### Project Manager/ Lead Animator @ Zeugma Produções Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 | Rio de Janeiro Managed a feature-length animation film, "Não Deixe a Júlia ir Embora," under director Matheus Souza. Responsibilities included defining the film's visual language, recruiting and leading a 13-person animation team, establishing animation workflows, and training the team in Adobe After Effects. ### Founder and Lead Designer @ Servistos Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 Servistos, a digital service exchange marketplace, was launched as my university capstone project. Key activities included extensive research in underserved Rio neighborhoods, prototyping, user testing, team recruitment, business model development, brand definition, and overall project management. ### Design Intern @ Kleintech Jan 2010 – Jan 2011 Interned at Kleintech, working on Frugar, a hybrid e-commerce and social network platform. Responsibilities included user research, usability testing, creating user personas, and defining product priorities. ### Design Intern @ Unidesign Jan 2009 – Jan 2010 At Unidesign, a prestigious design studio in Rio de Janeiro, I contributed to the renewal of the National Museum’s permanent Invertebrates exhibition. My role involved conducting detailed research on the exhibition’s themes, the museum’s spatial limitations, and anticipated audience behavior. Using this knowledge, I facilitated team discussions by creating storyboards for the exhibition flow and designing sketches and prototypes for interactive features. Additionally, I developed a documentation system to catalog and organize the exhibit pieces, ensuring smooth execution and implementation. ### Voluntary work as an informatics teacher @ PUC-Rio Jan 2007 – Jan 2007 | Cruzada São Sebastião As a volunteer teacher in a PUC-Rio program, I taught basic computer skills to a diverse group of learners, including children, adults, and the elderly, many of whom had little to no prior experience with technology. The curriculum covered everything from turning on a computer and understanding graphical user interfaces to building basic proficiency in software such as word processors, messaging apps, and web browsers.
