Ideation with product, RFC and design documents, implementation, deployment, and on site support. ### Software Engineer @ Capital One Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | McLean, VA Backend developer for the Cyber Orchestration and Automation (Orca) team. Our team primarily collaborated with and did work for the Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC). Went from creating and automating 52 cases/month at the start of 2020 to creating and automating over 1200 cases/month at the start of 2021. The automation work we did equated to roughly 10 full time CSOC Analysts worth of work per year. Also, sole developer for the Enrichment Services API which gathers user information about Capital One employees as well as detailed information about Capital One IP addresses and URLs. Over a 3 month span, from November 2020 to January 2021, this API handled roughly 1.5 million requests. ### Associate Software Engineer @ Capital One Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | McLean, Virginia Work primarily as a backend developer for the Messaging Configurations team under the Digital Messaging Systems organization. I was a major part of designing and implementing new functionality for customization and improved user experience for Capital One customers. These features were implemented for messages received via e-mail, SMS, and push notifications. The Message Configuration API that our team developed is an extremely high volume, program-critical application, which takes in roughly 25 million production requests per day. I had exposure to developing, building, and deploying an API to AWS at scale, while still keeping operational costs as low as possible.
