I'm a Software Engineer at Box with a focus on the Organize & Share experience in the web app. Before Box, I was an Applications Engineer for 4+ years at an enterprise SaaS startup developing applications for U.S. and South African nuclear power plants. 

Outside of work, I spend my time advocating for women, leading social impact projects with non-profits like YCore and Able Works to support young families with economic self-sufficiency, and mentoring aspiring female engineers at Hackbright.

Tech Lead for 6 month-long front-end uploads project, onboarded 6 engineers, released with 0 production issues as a critical service upgrade, improved upload success rate for large files by 6.5% (React, Redux, Jest)

### Software Engineer @ Box
Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Redwood City, CA
- Modernized Box's OAuth login experience in a cross-functional tiger team and managed the release to 6 mobile and desktop apps, impacting 1.5M+ visitors a week, 253K+ WAU (PHP, JS, Phake, Smarty, CSS).
- Led cross-team migration efforts for mobile web into new primary data center (Infrastructure)
- Upgraded node version to 10 for 8 mobile web hosts in 3 data centers and managed the canaried rollout, allowing developers to safely deploy new code into mobile web pipeline impacting ~4M MAU (Node.js, Puppet)
- On-boarded a new engineer on workflow processes, multiple codebases, and design, enabling Search team to build features independently in the web app (T3, React/Redux, PHP).
- Mentored a summer intern on front end feature project on workflow processes, multiple codebases, and design (JS, React/Redux, PHP, Testing).
- Technical support, troubleshooting, & release management in 2-week on-call rotation (Splunk, Wavefront, PagerDuty)

### Application Engineer @ DevonWay
Jan 2013 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco Bay Area
- Selected to lead enterprise product implementation on one of DevonWay's first international on-premise solutions, traveling on-site for 1.5 months to support delivery of the project at a nuclear power plant in South Africa. We on-boarded 300+ new users, and migrated over 10K+ records. (SQL, HTML5 and CSS3).
- Developed 40 hrs of training material and taught 5 clients with no prior engineering knowledge how to configure their own applications using our platform; 3 months later, we licensed a new product developed independently by the class and migrated over 3K+ new records.
