• Designed multiple PTP microwave and optical links, including FCC coordination, Pathloss design, radio configuration, line sweeps, and acceptance tests (RSL, BER, fade margin, power levels)

• Troubleshot urban RF issues (multipath, attenuation, limited LOS, co-channel interference, rain fading) using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF measurement techniques

• Enhanced network resilience with microwave, fiber, T1 transport methods, failover plans, remote management, and integration of Aviat radios, Nokia MPLS, Aruba switches, HP servers

• Developed a VPLS management solution for FDNY to program and manage 10,000+ radios

Assisted Lead Project engineer in a multi-million-dollar tech refresh for a NYC public agency

• Helped design and implement a distributed antenna system (60 in total) and preformed antenna sweeps to test VSWR, return loss, and distance-to-fault analysis

• Designed a test procedure for system technologists to install new equipment

• Upgraded software for mobile subscriber radios to support functionality such as GPS, TDMA, trunking capabilities, over the air provisioning, etc.
