Currently living and working in San Francisco, CA. I am a generalist software engineer with experience across a wide range of areas. I've designed and built an agent model in a 3D simulation engine, worked on an Unreal Engine 4 plugin, built a geospatial caching system in C++, written Go web servers, and prototyped front-end mapping and vector data components in JavaScript. I've led and managed teams of engineers. I've spent significant time working directly with customers, and translating their requirements into cross-team initiatives. I've also worked with Big Data processing systems with Hadoop and MapReduce, as well as Esper and Storm. I am also interested in computer graphics and anything in 2D/3D, both desktop and web graphics APIs, as well as procedural modeling, simulation, and path tracing.
