Using a hyperspectral camera to determine the spectral signature of suspended sediments.

Building an OpenFOAM model of Hoboken terminal to simulate flooding events.

Investigated flood inundation mapping (FIM) techniques using Height Above Nearest Drainage (HAND) and its derivative projects: National Flood Interoperability Experiment (NFIE) and NOAA-OWM Cahaba. Created statewide flood maps for New Jersey.

Investigated how SAR satellite imagery can be used to measure ocean waves. Processed satellite imagery using ESA SNAP and Python. Analyzed data using Rutgers High Performance Computers (ex. 100 GB RAM and 4 hour run times) and working in Linux environments. Performed results analysis, linear regression, principal component analysis, machine learning regression.

Peer Review for Massachusetts Towns

Performed peer review of permit-phase construction plans and stormwater reports for conformance with local bylaws and state regulations. Reviews included new development and redevelopment, such as commercial, residential, and solar developments. Reviews were performed for both initial permitting and as-built plans.

Visited construction sites to verify that construction materials, layout, and techniques were generally in conformance with the approved construction documents. Created bond estimates for the towns based on work completed/remaining.
