● Developed features for a cross-platform (mobile, tablet, desktop) web application serving over 500,000 daily customers worldwide.
● Led a cross functional team to design, implement and launch a subscription button for repeat purchasing used by over 1,000 users/month. This feature contributed $10 million in annual profit.
● Launched 20+ A/B experiments each which generated upwards $20 million in annual revenue and/or optimized service latency and availability.
● Implemented automated test suites (unit, integration). Created a post deployment hook that automated tedious actions engineers would manually performing after deployment; saving 16 dev hours per month
● Partnered with a team of three designers to design and implement a WordPress widget that allows customers to order customized light fixture products of 200+ distinct components. Demo was presented live to 10,000 attendees at the LightFair international expo.
● Created administrative interface and hosted tutorial sessions on application maintenance to onboard company associates.
● Implemented an end-to-end demo of a pipeline that generated datasets of similar Amazon products.
● Wrote custom Python and Bash scripts to automate data ETL tasks necessary to parse keywords from product descriptions to refine training data for the machine learning model.
● Documented project design exploring trade-offs of internal APIs and improved clarity of existing documentation regarding similar product datasets.
