At CrystalCommerce, I work with designers and product managers to turn ideas into reality on our two living platforms: legacy, and our next generation admin. On our legacy platform, I work with Ruby/Rails and a variety of conventional frontend technologies: HTML, CSS/SASS, and JS/jQuery. In our next generation admin, I turn designs into modular, reusable components that fit into the React/Redux application.

The perspective I have build from working with new technology like React has been invaluable as I work with our more conventional legacy platform. In the attached article, I walk the reader through a variety of significant updates we have made to a key page in our legacy platform.

PM is an inherently people-focused position. At CC, I help us build products that users absolutely love by starting with a solid understanding of our product vision. I engage the empathetic mind to weave in the voices of the stakeholders, the team members, and user. In the end, my job is to plan, measure, coordinate, and validate development of new and existing products.
