Expanded scope to work on Cloud IDE, Cloud CLI, and an upcoming product.

Returning to an IC role on the team I managed for a year. I gained a lot of skills, perspective, and scope managing. Excited to leverage that in an IC position to make an impact on our Cloud IDE product.

Engineering manager for two teams working on dbt Cloud IDE. Had 6-8 direct reports throughout my year managing. Filled the role of product manager for the teams until we hired that position.

Both teams work on the same cloud IDE product, one with a backend / service emphasis and the other focused on frontend and developer experience.

I focused on operational excellence, team safety, and shaping and executing initiatives. Met with executives to work on high-level strategy, while also diving into the code with ICs and serving in the on-call rotation for the product.

In terms of tech stack, worked primarily with Kubernetes, Django / Python, React / TypeScript.
