Joined Ultimate Software through Ultimate’s acquisition of Kanjoya in 2016. Managed engineering team of 35-40 engineers working across Perception application and platform teams. Perception responsibilities included product development, scaling, infrastructure, quality assurance and site reliability. Platform team responsibilities included data center / cloud migrations, building out common platform and scoring pipelines. Also tasked with numerous initiatives to improve quality, streamline cross team collaboration and evangelize SRE practices across Ultimate Software.

Perception is an employee engagement survey analytics product used by companies to better understand their employees. Managed 10-15 engineers across infrastructure, platform, release, and product engineering teams working on the Perception product. Responsibilities include building new product features, scaling the product, maturing software development lifecycle, improving system robustness and growing the team.
