• Prototyped the sensor, making novel use of off-the-shelf hardware.
• Wrote calibration, image processing, and 3D reconstruction pipeline employing ROS and OpenCV.
• Implemented a testing pipeline for the evaluation and comparison of stereo sensors. Demonstrated sub-millimeter accuracy.
• Revised the sensor for inclusion in a robotic hand developed for the DARPA Autonomous Robotic Manipulation (ARM) program, designing hardware to coordinate sensor components and offload data.
