At Joyent, I've helped lead development on several distributed systems, including the Manta object store and the Cloud Analytics service. I developed widely-used tooling for debugging Node.js programs both postmortem and using DTrace, with a focus on production systems. I've drawn on this experience to help put together Joyent's documentation and best practices for Node.js, including best practices for error handling and operating Node in production.

* Worked on Sun Microsystem's Fishworks team on software for the Sun Storage 7000, including remote replication, backup/restore, phone home, and RAS features.
