I’m Dawood Syed and I’m a chef-turned-coder. One of my favorite expressions in the kitchen is, “Let’s see if I can do this, now I’m curious!” This is the mentality that shifted me into coding and instead of playing with things that go on a plate, I play with what I put on your browser. Personally, I think my results are just as yummy. ### Senior Software Engineer @ TrueCare
Jan 2022 – Present | Chicago, Illinois, United States
●	Designed and Implemented CI & CD Pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Maven, ECR, and EKS from scratch achieving end- to-end automation from code check to deploying docker images to EKS clusters.
●	Implemented monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, enabling proactive monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure and applications.
●	Deployed application which is containerized using Docker onto a Kubernetes cluster which is managed by Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS).
●	Leveraged Argo CD's GitOps principles to ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, increasing deployment reliability and traceability. Experienced in DevOps practices, including CI/CD with Jenkins and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
