# Debbie C. > Product Designer @Kargo | Leading AI-Driven UX for Predictive Models & System Integrations Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/debbiec Hi there :) I'm currently a Product Designer at Kargo, leading and have ownership of all design projects to create the best and elevated customer experience for our clients. I'm also spearheading the self-service initiative alongside my colleagues. And for the past few years, I've been dedicating my time improving Kargo products to be agentic, AI reliable. I won "Best Design" at the 2025 Kargo Hackathon for designing a Slack-based AI tool that delivers creative scores and performance feedback in real time. Streamlined in-channel decision-making by eliminating the need for external dashboards. Previously, I was a Product Designer Apprentice at Career Coaching Pro, building a career coaching platform to improve the experience for job-seekers and land their desired position. At Teens for Food Justice, a NY based non-profit organization, I supported their website overhaul as well as updating their design system and style guide. I started my UX/UI Product Design career at John Jay College of Criminal Justice as a Peer Ambassador where I conducted surveys to enhance student life on campus. At the same time, I volunteered at NYU-Langone Hospital (formerly Lutheran Hospital) to help update their documentation system with the EPIC system. If you're interested in talking, please send me a message to connect! ## Work Experience ### Product Designer @ Kargo Jan 2023 – Present | New York, United States Product Designer on the Kargo Commerce UX team, focused on building SaaS tools that empower users to create dynamic ad experiences across mobile and CTV. ### Product Designer @ Unknown Jan 2022 – Present | New York City Metropolitan Area ### Fashion Photographer @ Unknown Jan 2017 – Present | New York City Metropolitan Area ### Product Design Apprentice @ CareerCoachingPro Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | United States ### Associate Product Designer @ Teens for Food Justice Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | New York, New York Associate Product Designer supporting Teens for Food Justice as one of the leads in development of a scalable design system to streamline their digital presence and enhance user engagement. ### Executive Marketer @ John Jay College (CUNY) Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | New York, NY ### Peer Ambassador and User Researcher @ John Jay College (CUNY) Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | New York, New York ## Education ### Philosophy University of Cambridge ### Cognitive Psychology University of Cambridge ### Human-Centered Design Practitioner Certification The LUMA Institute ### UX/UI Product Design Flatiron School ### Bachelor of Arts - BA in Philosophy, Sociology, and Digital Media and Journalism John Jay College (CUNY) ### Film/Cinema/Video Studies Queens College ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/debbie-chan - Portfolio: https://www.officiallydebbie.com/ --- Source: https://flows.cv/debbiec JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/debbiec/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-29
