My duties included working with product management to design and scope new features, maintaining the iOS and Android app, designing and developing new features, overseeing app QA, and ongoing release monitoring. I was also responsible for the overall app architecture, long term technical project planning, and coordination between engineering and other functions within the organization. ### Senior Software Engineer @ GetUpside Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 | Washington, District of Columbia, United States I worked on the team that maintained the APIs and micro-services that are used by our our consumer-facing mobile application and by our strategic partners. During my time on the team we released two partner projects with the Lyft and Uber engineering teams which each drove large increases in app sign-ups and transactions. My responsibilities included developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring our Python Lambdas and Java micro-services. ### Senior Software Engineer @ Dharma Platform Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Washington D.C. Metro Area I served as engineering lead on the team that built and managed Dharma's iOS/Android application. From March through the fall of 1019 I lead an effort to re-write the legacy mobile app using modern tools including but not limited to React Native, Redux, Redux-Observable, and Typescript. In the app re-write we also included a comprehensive set of Jest tests to verify behavior of our asynchronous and state management logic. My duties have also included facilitating the QA process and managing app releases on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. ### Software Engineer @ Dharma Platform Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Washington D.C. Metro Area ### Senior Front End Software Engineer @ Applied Predictive Technologies Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Arlington I spent 2.5 years working at APT writing enterprise web apps using SQL, C#, and React/Redux/Typescript. In the summer of 2018 I became co-team lead for the engineering team that owns the look/feel of our platform and our common front-end components and infrastructure. The project that the team and I are currently working on is a re-write of our platform's homepage and navigation, intended to make it easier for users to start new analyses, find their saved analyses, and find help/training materials. This involves careful project planning to execute staged releases, coordinating between our engineers and the UX team, and ensuring that the app has been thoroughly tested. ### Front End Software Engineer @ Applied Predictive Technologies Jan 2016 – Jan 2018 ### Software Engineering Intern @ Intuit Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 | Greater San Diego Area I spent Summer 2015 working on the front end and UI for an internal web application used by the engineering teams to manage deployments. I worked with another intern to design the user interface of the application based on the needs of the app's users and then we worked together to build and deploy the app. I gained some experience with general JavaScript development and had some exposure to Backbone Marionette and CSS/Less. ### Explorer Intern @ Microsoft Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 | Bellevue, WA I spent Summer 2014 working as an Explorer Intern at Microsoft on the MSN News team. With two other interns, I worked as a Program Manager, Software Development Engineer, and Software Development Engineer in Test on a web development project. ### Student Researcher @ Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 | Olin College of Engineering Beginning in Summer 2013 I worked with two professors at Olin College on an experimental fluid dynamics project in which we observed oscillatory behavior in simple two-fluid networks.
