Led the work on protecting sensitive information for candidates and IVEs. Originally this involved running scripts to scrub personally identifiable information (PII) from interview files and forms that would be shared with clients and candidates. Later, most of the work involved changing the backend to avoid displaying sensitive information such as name and contact info in the first place. This work was part of the broader drive to improve privacy and security around Karat services.
