Kessel Run is the 1000 person cloud application company that develops the mission planning applications used by the US Air Force. These Palantir and Google Maps-like applications manage complex logistics about aircraft, including the management of millions upon millions of gallons of fuel a week.
· Lead design on the product team responsible for building the cloud Mission Planning Applications utilized by the US Air Force and many thousands of aircraft around the world
· Lead design and implementation of the Google Maps-like and Alltrails-like UI/UX features for planning refueling missions of tankers and aircraft in midair (!), which saves more than $1 million per week for the US Air Force
· Directly collaborate on an agile development team of 2 PMs, 2 Product Designers (plus Product Design leadership), and 6 Software Engineers across the entire product lifecycle from discovery, to problem definition, to development, and deployment into production
· Lead, conduct, and synthesize User Research Interviews, including onsite at Air Force bases, with a wide range of users (from internal airspace subject matter experts to airmen in the field) to inform our product decisions and direction
