I provided product design services and consulting for startups primarily in the civic and social impact space, including concept, strategy, research, and UX/UI design. Clients included companies and orgs in gov tech, political tech, public data, advocacy, and healthcare VR.
* Led email acquisition campaigns, including strategy, targeting and execution.
* Designed and tested landing pages and self-onboarding flows to optimize conversion and retention metrics among new users.
* Leveraged qual and quant data to align product design with financial targets and improve onboarding flows to increase self-onboarding rates in collaboration with product & design team.
* Supported product redesigns through user research and collaboration with cross-functional partners across customer success, product, design and sales.
* Led the initial build-out of enterprise customer targeting following company pivot.
* Drove market sizing and analysis in coordination with Head of Product.
* Designed immersive travel experiences in Latin America for US-based human rights organization. Multi-day itineraries examined in-country social, political, environmental, economic and cultural issues within the framework of socially responsible travel.
* Wrote analysis on global current events, human rights, US foreign policy, and problematic corporate practices.
* Led campaign highlighting social justice issues connected to the World Cup and Olympics in Brazil.
* In May 2015 took on an additional role as Communications Coordinator supporting the strategy, development and execution of digital comms for the org.
