Designed and Implemented Zdict, a dictionary data structure based on perfect hash functions to assist new Garbage Collection algorithms in Data Domain File System(DDFS). The memory overhead with Zdict is 30x less than traditional hash tables and still has O(1) lookup time.

Conducted study to estimate energy consumed by storage subsystem on Android smartphones. Analyzed different IO patterns and the energy consumed by the smartphone on two different file systems - Ext4 and F2FS.
