I am an experienced Software and Research Engineer with a background in building cutting-edge applications at the intersection of computer vision, machine learning, and immersive technologies. As a Software Engineer at Twenty/Twenty Therapeutics, I designed and developed innovative Virtual Reality (VR) applications for ophthalmic diagnosis, using C#/Unity, while building cloud-based infrastructure on GCP for real-time results processing. 

During my Master's Degree in CS (Thesis) at Arizona State University (ASU), I conducted research on deep learning methods for biomedical imaging datasets. I also implemented an interactive training strategy that improved segmentation accuracy by training a convolutional neural network with user simulated inputs. Additionally, I have developed and optimized deep convolutional neural network-based models for face detection and alignment as a Research Intern at Element, Inc., a company that builds mobile-based platforms for digital identity. 

Currently, I am working at a health AI startup, building high-performance Rust applications and scalable data pipelines. I am skilled in Python, PyTorch, Rust, C#, Unity, Android, Java, GCP, and AWS, and I am always eager to learn new technologies and tools.  I am passionate about applying AI and immersive tech to solve real-world problems and improve human lives.
