Optical Diagnostics for Diseased and Engineered Tissue Lab (ODDET)
• Developed multiple algorithms and graphical user interfaces for metabolic and functional analysis of microscope images and for realtime processing of image data.
• Developed a experimental endoscopy device for improved metastatic cancer screening and led its testing in human clinical trials in collaboration with surgeons.
• Experience with two-photon-excited fluorescence, confocal microscopy and spectroscopy.
• Researched the phenomena of polarized imaging using theoretical and experimental means such as creating optical phantoms using polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and collagen.
