# Divit Sharma > Software Engineer @ Nuro Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/divit Currently building data infrastructure for autonomous vehicles at Nuro. Past experience includes researching and developing simulators for autonomous vehicles at the University of Waterloo, building data infrastructure at Ike Robotics and game development at Behaviour Interactive. Proficient with C++, Python, Unity3D and Unreal Engine 4. Also interested in computer graphics and making games - check out my personal projects on GitHub (https://github.com/divitsharma/)! ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Nuro Jan 2021 – Present | San Francisco, California, United States ### Self-Driving Simulation Engineer @ University of Waterloo Intelligent Systems Engineering Lab Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Developed and assisted research on driver-vehicle models for creating dynamic traffic simulations, to improve AV testing. Built a Python-based traffic simulator to implement realistic trajectory generation and behaviour planning for traffic agents. Developed an Unreal Engine 4 plugin to visualize scenarios and to interface with the WISE Lab's self-driving platform. ### Infrastructure Software Engineer @ Ike Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco, California, United States Built ETL pipelines to ingest and process data from automated trucks for simulation workflows. Developed infrastructure to run thousands of cloud simulations daily using BuildKite and Google Kubernetes Engine, for continuous evaluation of the self-driving platform. ### Game Developer @ Behaviour Interactive Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Montreal, Quebec, Canada I worked as a gameplay programmer on Behaviour Interactive's popular multiplayer game Dead by Daylight. I designed and implemented software architecture in Unreal Engine 4 for a new playable character. I also contributed to continuous bug fixes and performance optimizations by refactoring existing game mechanics. ### Simulation and Mapping Intern @ University of Waterloo Intelligent Systems Engineering (WISE) Lab Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Waterloo, Ontario, Canada I researched and implemented the use of context maps from the ground up for the WISE Lab's self-driving platform, for use in both simulation and onboard the vehicle. ## Education ### Bachelor's degree in Computer Science University of Waterloo ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/divitsharma --- Source: https://flows.cv/divit JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/divit/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-29
