I am a full stack developer with math background. I’ve always loved to work with computer and tried to understand how the machine works. I enjoy solving problems by getting my hands dirty, and that was the biggest reason I chose mathematics as my major when I applied for college. I first tried coding as a part of my degree requirements and I found myself enjoying logics behind problem solving and coding. It wasn’t until I was in Junior year to decide to go for computer science and math major because I knew most CS majors have had experience and I thought I was not good enough. However, my passion for coding and watching the application fleshing out was more than enough for me to overcome that fear and fall in love with software development.

I have built a full-stack web application that is a horizontal kanban board. Although handling authentication was the toughest part, I am most proud of implementing the invitation feature. The feature allows users to invite other people by typing in their email address and send invitation email. Upon accept, the invited user will be directed to signup/login landing page. Once the user is signed up or logged in, the invited board is already added to the invited user’s dashboard. 

Most recently, I worked with a group of software developers in a collaborative setting to build few fully functioning full stack application using Agile methodology, Test Driven Development with continuous integration and feature-branch git workflow. I also used Trello to effectively organize the workflow and to minimize any conflict in the process of creating these applications.
