Recognition • Awarded "The Most Meritorious Final Year Thesis Award» (94/100). • Solution presented to the international community at DDW in Washington and ESGE in Prague. • Demonstrated to The Queen as a part of the notable achievements at KCL. Analytical and Quantitative • Experimented with numerous image segmentation techniques. As a consequence, developed a multi-stage highly accurate capillary extraction algorithm with accuracy close to 99%. • Identified the most differentiating variables from the extracted capillary dataset. The findings correspond with preceding medical literature, thus reflecting a real clinical picture. • Trained models for healthy & unhealthy patients using a large volume of labeled endoscopic data, which are used to diagnose the disease. Models perform diagnosis with a 100% accuracy. • Contribute to 2 unique research papers on Acid-Reflux diagnosis.
