■ Worked primarily in the magnesium-ion battery project - a potentially game changing battery material that is more abundant, energy-dense, and safer than lithium.
■ Evaluated the performance of magnesium-ion batteries by varying cathodic materials, cell types and testing conditions with Arbin equipment.
■ Designed new cell types for a lithium nickel system with AutoCAD 3D to easily and accurately observe particle morphologies between charge and discharge cycles.
■ Familiar with laboratory test equipment such as SEM, SEM-EDX, optical microscopes, inert atmosphere gloveboxes, and machinery equipment such as diamond cutters, metal cutters, threading machines, rotary tools, and plenary ball mills.
