This included integrating several acquired brands into a cohesive visual identity and content framework. Created the Brand Design organization - developing project management processes, trainings, tools, career ladders, and hiring practices while managing a remote national team of in-house designers, developers, external agencies and freelancers. Collaborated closely with sales, marketing, and executive teams to establish a strategy that clearly defined Commure's newly created category — the healthtech operating system — to prospects at every stage of the customer journey. Led the creative direction of brand and marketing campaigns, from brainstorming and brief to execution and analytics tracking, resulting in the highest-ever CTR in Commure's history. Oversaw the development of creative for all events and associated promotional materials, including landing pages, social media, sales enablement collateral, and video. ### Design Manager @ Cloudflare Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco Bay Area Managed a team of designers to create and conceptualize a cohesive Cloudflare brand experience and tell a compelling brand story in a technical space, globally. Worked cross-functionally with product marketing, sales, recruiting, people & places, events, localization, HR, and executive teams. Responsibilities included leading creative direction and establishing and managing vendor relationships for large-scale multi-day international corporate events, directing brand creative for all non-US brand initiatives (with a focus on European and Asian markets), collaborating with internal engineering teams to develop full-funnel marketing user flows, managing animation and video creative internally and externally, and leading creative for brand campaigns - including Cloudflare's first-ever national brand awareness out-of-home campaign. Managed, established, and grew vendor relationships. Crafted and launched internal design tools, including file naming structures and self-service templates to enable efficiencies in asset creation across the company. ### Creative Specialist, Brand Strategy @ Twitter Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area Creative Lead on #Fuel team within the Brand Strategy team, a cross-vertical team focused on supercharging advertisers' impact on Twitter. Designed innovative ways to inspire and inform top and emerging US and global brands to develop thoughtful content strategies and attention-grabbing custom creative activations that harnessed the power of Twitter to deliver maximum ROI. Developed internal tools to allow efficiencies in workflows to enable cross-functional sales teams to rapidly craft presentations using Twitter's core messaging and ad products. Worked in tandem with the global marketing creative team and product marketers, vertical marketing specialists, research analysts, and sales account executives to find creative solutions to tell Twitter’s story to the world. Provided creative direction and visual identity design for large scale corporate events - including executive keynote presentations, working collaboratively with the Live Studio team to highlight cultural touchstones on Twitter owned and operated channels, and was part of the team that developed Twitter’s first-ever national out-of-home brand awareness campaign. ### Communication Designer @ Shift Technologies, Inc. Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 As the sole communication designer, responsibilities included developing an internal brand identity through the design of office spaces, illustrations, brand photography and corporate events, as well as designing internal systems for onboarding new employees and recruiting materials. Worked cross-functionally with sales and customer service teams to create better outreach to customers, helping to streamline the customer service experience and more effectively drive pipeline for an innovative product in an emerging market. ### Marketing Designer @ Mixbook Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 | Palo Alto, CA Designed marketing materials for Mixbook as well as the mobile app Mosaic, ranging from creating emails to shooting product photography, to planning marketing campaigns and filming and editing commercial spots. Also assisted in planning and providing design support for potential partnerships with other companies, including re-design of the Mosaic app to better align with partners. ### Head of Communication Design @ Clinkle Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 Led communication design at Clinkle. Responsibilities included landing page design, illustration, mobile UX design of early product, product photography, and developing the Clinkle brand. Duties were many and varied, with the overarching goal being defining and maintaining a strong brand identity across all aspects of the company. ### Assistant Manager @ Graphics Center at USF Jan 2010 – Jan 2012 Managed and mentored design students at the student-run design firm at the University of San Francisco.
