I am Drishti, a grad student (not anymore) and aspiring software engineer (almost accomplished) with a passion for distributed systems and backend development. I pursued Master of Science in Computer Science at Stony Brook University, New York, where I also worked as a graduate teaching assistant for CSE 260, Computer Science B. Honors

I have worked in Trainium Collectives team at AWS, Annapurna Labs, during the summer of 2024 where I focused on developing a tensor processing unit, context logging application.

Previously, I worked as a software engineer at Target Corporation, where I was part of the core engineering team that developed and improved the APIs and platform for supplier business planning and merchandising vendor negotiation. 

I have also interned at VMware, where I contributed to the design and implementation of a cloud-based application for managing virtual machines. I have multiple certifications and publications in the fields of computing, communication, and networking, and I am proficient in object-oriented programming, data structures, and distributed systems. I am a member of AnitaB.org and WICS (Women in Computer Science), and I am actively looking for a software engineering internship for summer 2024.
